New paper in Ecology published

Alastair Harborne's new, co-authored paper on the effects of exposure on larval and ontogenetic connectivity is now online in Ecology!

The science of larval dispersal and ontogenetic habitat shifts have developed somewhat independently of one another, even though they’re sequential processes in a life history. We show that the environmental conditions favoring the availability of mangrove nurseries tend to be systematically associated with greater larval retention. In other words, larval and ontogenetic connectivities can be systematically linked across the seascape.
